Longwood Roof Cleaning is a mobile roof soft-washing business serving Longwood, Florida and the surrounding Seminole County communities. We do one thing: low-pressure, chemical soft washing to remove black-streak algae (Gloeocapsa magma) and moss from residential roofs, plus the gutter brightening that usually goes with it.

We are not a roofing contractor. We don't repair leaks, replace shingles or tile, or hold a Florida roofing contractor license — and we won't imply otherwise. If your roof needs structural work rather than cleaning, we'll tell you that plainly instead of quoting a wash that won't fix the actual problem.

Why soft washing, specifically

A pressure washer is the wrong tool for a roof. It strips the granules off asphalt shingles, can crack concrete or clay tile, and drives water up under shingle tabs where it doesn't belong.
